One Question does not collect your journal entries, answers, sealed notes, favorites, or reflection history.
We do not operate an account system or a server that receives your writing.
The app stores the information needed to provide its journal features locally on your device:
The app does not provide cloud sync. Depending on your device settings, local app data may be included in an encrypted device backup managed by Apple.
Quiet Mirror is an optional feature available on supported devices. It uses Apple's Foundation Models framework and on-device Apple Intelligence.
Only after you explicitly allow access, up to twelve recent reflections are provided to Apple's on-device model to create one observation and one follow-up question. Your journal text is not sent to us, and the generated result is not saved automatically.
You can withdraw this permission in the app's settings at any time.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and unlock Quiet Plus. RevenueCat may process purchase status, product identifiers, and a pseudonymous app user identifier. It does not receive your journal text.
We do not use analytics, crash reporters, or any tracking technologies.
There are no ads, advertising identifiers, or sale of personal data.
The core journal works offline. No login, no account, and no cloud sync are required. An internet connection is used only when loading, purchasing, or restoring a Quiet Plus subscription.
Your reflections are yours alone. They remain in the app so you can revisit them, but we cannot see or recover them.
Deleting the app removes its local data from the device. Any device backup is controlled through your Apple account and device settings.
